而4月24日这一天更加意义非凡——四天前的4月20日，正是母亲回天家14周年的日子，王国权专程前往纽约第五大道的圣托马斯教堂（St. Thomas Church）祈祷，缅怀母亲。母亲是一位虔诚的基督徒，也是一位非常传统的中国贤惠女性，人缘极好，虔诚善良，歌声优美，端庄慈祥。而4月24日这天，既是他母亲的生日，也是他姐姐的生日，这一天充满了思念，也充满了感恩与喜乐。

A Vibrant Music and Community Gathering in Manhattan's Upper West Side
On the evening of April 24, a special community music night—SOULCRY WORSHIP & SANDLOT REVIVAL—was held at Central Baptist Church on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York. Co-presented by local SoulCry Church and Sandlot Revival teams, the event drew participants from diverse backgrounds, filling the venue with passionate music and heartfelt sharing.

The SoulCry Church music team was led by Pastor David Ham, featuring locally active lead vocalist Collin Jackson (full of energy), singer Antia (with an infectious voice, often harmonizing seamlessly with Collin), and Coach Gary, among others. Their live performance was rhythmically dynamic, driving an atmosphere that was both vibrant and energetic.

Sandlot Revival originated from the Savannah Bananas, a phenomenal American entertainment baseball team. The team is globally renowned for its innovative "Banana Ball" style, boasting over 11 million followers on TikTok with massive influence. Coach RAC is a well-known player on the team, with millions of followers, celebrated for his high-energy performances and positive content.
Wang Guoquan, officially honored by the New York State Senate and New York City Council as "Prince of Love Songs, International Host," official forum host of UN CSW69, and official delegate of the 70th UN Commission on the Status of Women, was invited to attend this event. That afternoon, he had just finished recording a promotional video in Times Square and celebrated the birthday of Boston singer Marissa before arriving at the church for the music night.

For him, this April was extraordinarily magical, as if God had arranged a journey of grace intertwined with world-class artists.
On April 6, at a theater event founded by Lincoln Center Honorary Chairman Martin Segal, Emmy Award winner, Steinway artist, and top American musician Lance Horne personally accompanied Wang Guoquan on piano as he sang the French song "Les Feuilles Mortes" ("Autumn Leaves") with deep emotion.

On April 22, Wang Guoquan joined international superstar, comedy legend, and global podcast host Russell Brand at the 56th World Earth Day celebration held in Times Square.

And April 24 was even more profoundly meaningful—just four days earlier, on April 20, marked the 14th anniversary of his mother's passing (she returned to heaven in 2012). On that day, Wang Guoquan made a special trip to St. Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue in New York to pray and honor his mother's memory. His mother was a devout Christian and a traditionally virtuous Chinese woman, beloved by all, pious and kind, with a beautiful singing voice, dignified and gracious. And on April 24, it was both his mother's birthday and his sister's birthday—a day filled with longing, yet also overflowing with gratitude and joy. On April 24, 2021, he had also held his very first online concert—a solo concert featuring golden hits by Teresa Teng, which generated tremendous response at the time. And last year, he held his first offline live solo concert in the New York City Hall—the world's capital—an event that New York compatriots warmly invited and actively requested him to perform. Though his mother has returned to heaven, Wang Guoquan believes that commemorating her on such a day filled with music and joy is deeply meaningful. He said with emotion: "I miss my mother so much. Today, recording a video in Times Square and then attending this vibrant music gathering in the evening—I deeply feel God's miraculous arrangement, filling this special day with warmth and joy."
Moreover, this April he also witnessed international superstar Lady Gaga's The Mayhem Ball global tour finale at Madison Square Garden, where he exchanged warm words and posed for photos backstage with Gaga's chief dancer and American dance legend Michael Dameski.

He also shared: "I have traveled to nearly one hundred countries around the world and attended hundreds of similar worship concerts in churches, but this event left an especially deep impression on me. From beginning to end, it was filled with passion and vitality, with friends in the audience interacting enthusiastically throughout, and the entire venue radiating joy and delight from start to finish. I particularly appreciate this warm way of connecting hearts through authentic stories. I myself am sometimes invited to sing in churches across Europe, America, and China, and this sincere yet vibrant form of expression was a truly fresh and unforgettable experience for me." Coming from a family of five generations of Christians, he especially cherishes such musical and spiritual connections.
