研学WCCO｜十余所高校大学生在WCCO感受国际组织的氛围与使命 College Students Visit WCCO

大运河传媒讯（朱桂艳）7月28日上午，上海赴外文化交流中心“国际组织实习生预备营”的近40名高校大学生，走进世界运河历史文化城市合作组织（WCCO）秘书处参观研学，深入了解国际性社团的发展与运作，切身感受国际组织的工作氛围与使命担当。

上海赴外文化交流中心于2021年加入WCCO并成为企业会员，双方长期紧密合作，多次举办大学生走进国际组织线下研学活动，并曾与联合国环境规划署共同举办第六届联合国中国青少年环境论坛。WCCO协助上海赴外文化交流中心开展的“国际组织实习生预备营项目研修团”，旨在为高校学子创造更多了解和研究国际组织、赴国际组织实习任职的机会，助力高校培养合格的全球治理与国际组织人才，在一定范围内产生了较大影响力。

此次，上海赴外文化交流中心组织湖南农业大学、湖北工业大学、重庆交通大学等十余所高校的近40名大学生赴WCCO秘书处，通过实地参访、嘉宾讲座及模拟面试等形式，开拓国际视野，培养国际化工作能力。

在中国大运河申遗展示馆，学生们围绕大运河申遗历程、大运河文化带及国家文化公园建设、WCCO向世界传播运河承载的中国故事等主题进行学习，全面了解了扬州牵头沿线城市推动中国大运河申遗的历史进程、后申遗时代沿线各地保护利用运河文化的最新成果，以及WCCO在开展运河文化国际交流、建设文化旅游品牌、促进国内外运河城市对外交往等方面的工作成效。随后，学生们走进世界运河沉浸式展示馆，“身临其境”感受了世界知名遗产运河的独特风采。

全球有7.5万个国际组织，国际组织需要什么样的人才？WCCO会员部负责人介绍了WCCO诞生背景、发展历程、组织架构、运作模式，并分享了中国人民大学等高校在创新国际化人才培养模式上的实践。

采访中学生们纷纷表示：“这场研学让我看到了课堂之外的世界，也让我有了投身国际事务的梦想。”

Grand Canal Media News (Zhu Guiyan) On the morning of July 28, nearly 40 university students from the Shanghai Center for Cultural Exchange Abroad International Organization Intern Preparatory Camp visited the Secretariat of the World Canal Historical and Cultural Cities Cooperation Organization (WCCO) for a study tour, gaining an in-depth understanding of the development and operations of international associations and personally experiencing the working atmosphere and sense of mission in international organizations.

The Shanghai Center for Cultural Exchange Abroad joined WCCO in 2021 and became a corporate member. The two sides have maintained long-term close cooperation, organizing multiple offline study tours for university students to visit international organizations, and jointly hosted the 6th UN China Youth Environmental Forum with the United Nations Environment Programme. WCCO assisted the Shanghai Center for Foreign Cultural Exchange in organizing the "International Organization Internship Preparatory Camp Project Study Group," aiming to create more opportunities for university students to learn about and research international organizations and to intern and work in them, helping universities cultivate qualified talents in global governance and international organizations, and generating significant influence within a certain scope.

This time, the Shanghai Cultural Exchange Center organized nearly 40 university students from more than ten universities, including Hunan Agricultural University, Hubei University of Technology, and Chongqing Jiaotong University, to visit the WCCO Secretariat. Through on-site visits, guest lectures, and mock interviews, they broadened their international perspectives and cultivated their international work capabilities.

At the China Grand Canal World Heritage Exhibition Hall, students studied on topics such as the Grand Canal's World Heritage application process, the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt and national cultural parks, and the WCCO sharing the Chinese stories carried by the canal to the world. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the historical process of Yangzhou leading cities along the route in promoting the Grand Canal World Heritage application, the latest achievements in the protection and utilization of canal culture in the post-application era, as well as the WCCO's achievements in international canal cultural exchanges, building cultural tourism brands, and promoting foreign exchanges among domestic and international canal cities. Next, the students entered the World Canal Immersive Exhibition Hall, experiencing firsthand the unique charm of the world-renowned heritage canal.

There are 75,000 international organizations around the world. What kind of talents do these organizations need? The person in charge of the Membership Department at WCCO introduced the background, development history, organizational structure, and operating models of WCCO, and shared the practices of universities such as Renmin University of China in innovating the training models for internationalized talents.

During the interview, the students all expressed: "This research and study trip has allowed me to see the world beyond the classroom and has also inspired in me a dream of engaging in international affairs."
