魂断蓝桥梦不成——12首唐诗咏蓝桥离别、邂逅和爱情名篇英译传世典藏集

蓝桥位于陕西蓝田县东南的蓝溪之上。在唐代，蓝桥设有蓝桥驿，是长安通往东南的重要驿站，白居易、元稹等诗人往返贬所时常经此地，留下诸多诗作。文学史上的蓝桥：在唐诗中，“蓝桥”承载着三重意象：地理实指：蓝桥驿、蓝桥水，是诗人行旅中的真实地标；友情见证：元稹与白居易在蓝桥驿壁上唱和，成为唐诗史上的佳话；爱情符号：尾生的痴情与裴航的奇遇，使蓝桥成为忠贞爱情的文化符号。

蓝桥最著名的典故有两则：

① 尾生抱柱（“魂断蓝桥”）：据《庄子·盗跖》记载，春秋时有个叫尾生的男子，与心爱的女子相约在桥下见面。女子未到，河水上涨，尾生为了守信不肯离去，紧紧抱住桥柱，最终被淹死。据《西安府志》，相传此地即尾生抱柱而死的地方，正是蓝田县蓝峪水上的蓝桥，后人便把相爱男女一方失约、另一方殉情称为“魂断蓝桥”。

② 裴航遇云英（“蓝桥仙窟”）：唐代裴铏《传奇》记载，秀才裴航在蓝桥驿口渴求浆，遇樊夫人呼女云英捧浆而出，裴航爱慕其美貌，后历经曲折终娶云英，双双仙去。樊夫人赠诗“蓝桥便是神仙窟，何必崎岖上玉清”，使蓝桥也成为神仙姻缘的象征。

今天从《全唐诗》中甄选12首咏蓝桥的名篇，信达雅英译，让承载东方独有的含蓄情致跨越语言江海。世人皆有相思之愁，细腻柔软的共情力能够打破语言壁垒，消解跨文化传播中的“文化折扣”。当海外读者读懂唐诗里邂逅的浪漫和爱情的凄美，便能触摸中国人内敛温柔的精神底色，让东方审美与人文情怀在世界范围内形成情感共振。

1.Blue Bridge (蓝桥) is situated on theLanxi River in the southeast of Lantian County, Shaanxi Province. During theTang dynasty, the Blue Bridge Post Station was established there, serving as animportant stop on the main route from Chang'an to the southeast and a genuinelandmark for poets on their travels.

2.Legend one: Wei Sheng Embracing the Pillar (or “The Broken Heart at BlueBridge”)

Accordingto the “Robber Zhi” chapter in the Zhuangzi, during the Springand Autumn period, a man named Wei Sheng made an appointment with the woman heloved to meet under a bridge. She did not arrive, and the river began to rise.Rather than break his word, Wei Sheng clung fast to a bridge pillar and was eventuallydrowned. The Gazetteer of Xi’an Prefecture identifies the very bridgewhere he died as the Blue Bridge (蓝桥) spanning the LanyuRiver in Lantian County. In later usage, the phrase “the soul's parting at BlueBridge” came to denote the tragedy in which one lover fails to keep the trystand the other perishes for love.

3.Legend two: Pei Hang Meets Yunying (or “Blue Bridge as the Fairy Grotto”)

Inthe Tang dynasty, Pei Xing’s Chuanqi (“Tales of the Marvelous”) tellsthe story of the scholar Pei Hang, who, while passing the Blue Bridge poststation, grew thirsty and asked for a drink. Madam Fan called out her daughterYunying to bring him water. Pei Hang was captivated by her beauty, and after aseries of trials and tribulations, he finally married Yunying; the couple thenascended together to immortality. Madam Fan presented a poem with the line:“The Blue Bridge itself is a fairy grotto—why laboriously climb to the JadeHeaven above?” From that time, Blue Bridge became a symbol of fated love andtranscendent union.
