湛江市气象台8月25日18时55分发布消息，今年第19号台风"紫檀”（热带风暴级）的中心已于25日18时40分前后在海南省昌江县沿海登陆，登陆时中心附近最大风力8级（20米/秒），中心最低气压993百帕。预计，台风"紫檀"继续向北偏东方向移动，于26日凌晨至上午以热带风暴级(8级)在广西东南部至广东雷州半岛西侧一带沿海登陆或在雷州半岛西侧擦过。
