The 'GO Transit Expansion On-Corridor Works' (OnCorr) project which represents a transformative step for rail transit in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, that is designed to deliver faster, more frequent, and more reliable GO Train service.
A major focus of OnCorr is the implementation of a modern, advanced signalling system based on European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2. This upgrade will enable continuous train control, improved safety, and greater operational flexibility making signalling one of the strategic aspects of the project.
