受台风“沙德尔”带来的连日强降雨影响，9月5日凌晨4时许，遂川县高坪镇明坑村石下组发生泥石流灾害，造成12栋房屋受损，其中8栋房屋完全损毁、4栋房屋一般受损。目前，已救出3人（其中2人身体状况良好、1人死亡），尚有11人失联。现场救援工作正在全力进行中。
