当地时间9月14日，国际原子能机构第70届大会批准了东帝汶的入会申请。东帝汶将成为该机构第182个成员国。
东帝汶此前已申请加入国际原子能机构，并获得该机构理事会推荐。大会批准后，东帝汶还需交存接受《国际原子能机构规约》的文书，完成相关程序后正式成为成员国。
国际原子能机构第70届大会14日在奥地利维也纳开幕。
