据《队报》报道，齐达内执教法国队的首场比赛前迟到入场，错过了法国国歌《马赛曲》的前奏。
齐达内和法国队教练组在土耳其伊兹密特举行的比赛中，直到《马赛曲》响起几秒后才走进场内。他们随后急忙并肩站好，接着唱起国歌。
