10月13日，国务院新闻办公室举行“新征程上的奋斗者”中外记者见面会，请气象领域代表围绕“监测预报护冷暖 气象服务惠民生”与中外记者见面交流。
中国气象局上海台风研究所助理研究员牛泽毅表示，给台风精准预报加装“新引擎”——让人工智能当“领航员”把控大方向，物理模式做“雕刻师”精准刻画台风内部结构，两者共同提升台风的预报性能。
