由于持续降雨，位于仰光省内的额莫耶水库水位已超过满水位，溢洪道正有水流溢出。
根据9月1日早上6时的测量数据，额莫耶水库的水位为108.40英尺，比设定的满水位107英尺高出约1.40英尺。
目前，额莫耶水库溢洪道的排水流量为每秒930立方英尺（Cusec）。
此外，附近马胡雅水库距离满水位还差0.30英尺，而榜林水库距离满水位还差6.49英尺。
