娜塔莉·伯格曼（Natalie Bergman）宣布新EP《I Killed A North American Songbird》，五首歌，两周后发行。
这是她离开Wild Belle之后个人发展的又一步。去年她在Third Man Records推出专辑《My Home Is Not In This World》，把复古流行、灵魂乐与民谣揉在一起，听感被形容为"极为悦耳"。新EP的标题本身已经足够让人好奇。
先行曲是开场曲《White Oak》，由本·卢姆斯丹（Ben Lumsdaine）制作，一首摇晃、失衡的灵魂乐抒情曲——复古的声音被以相当现代的方式处理。她唱道："独自在荒野中／你生来就是为了创造美好的事物"，又唱："我们把他的身体放进土里／你用男中音吹奏旋律"。
《White Oak》的MV由安德烈亚斯·埃克伦德（Andreas Ekelund）执导，出镜舞者是斯塔兹·林德斯（Staz Lindes）、桑迪·丹顿（Sandi Denton）和琼·泰特（June Tate）。
