9月4日，野村证券表示，在日元持续走弱的极端情况下，日本央行可能会在12月之前的三次会议上连续加息。野村日本外汇策略主管Yujiro Goto表示，本月加息25个基点“看起来合理”，且“如果日元的弱势继续向160靠拢，10月和12月可能连续加息”。
