9月4日，A股三大指数全天冲高回落，截至收盘，上证指数跌0.3%，深证成指跌0.79%，创业板指跌0.78%；北证50跌0.1%。沪深两市成交额约20306.68亿元，较前一个交易日放量约2717.52亿元。全市场2444只股票上涨、2914只股票下跌，其中41只涨停、9只跌停。
板块方面，猪肉产业、饲料、家禽、农林牧渔、出版、影视院线等行业以及概念涨幅居前；玻纤、HBM、先进封装、电子化学品、半导体、小金属等行业以及概念跌幅居前。
