受干旱影响，8月份荷兰内河航运货物运输量减少了近19%。
荷兰中央统计局CBS报告称，8月份内河航运总运输量为2180万吨，是过去15年来8月份的最低水平。
由于干旱导致水位下降，7月和8月船舶的装载量有所减少。
8月份，每艘船的平均载重约为1299吨，而正常情况下约为1500吨。
从荷兰到德国的运输量，尤其是经莱茵河的运输量，降幅最大，接近40%。
预计2026年上半年，内河航运的运输量将比2025年同期增长6.3%。
