北京时间9月13日，前NBA球员贝弗利在一档节目中表示，他在篮球中找到了属于自己的避风港。
“朋友让我失望过，街头生活让我失望过，家人也曾让我失望。但篮球从来没有辜负过我。只要手里有一个篮球，我就感觉很好。我感到安全。我觉得那里就是我的家。无论我身在何处，都是如此。”贝弗利说道。
