据香港电台网站等港媒9月14日消息，9月12日晚8点，iPhone 18 Pro系列全网开启预售，随后不少网友在社交平台发文称，有不法分子盗刷其信用卡购买iPhone，当中涉及汇丰银行、恒生银行及渣打银行等信用卡。香港警方将案件初步定性为诈骗类侵财案件。截至9月14日下午5时，警方累计接到1209名市民报案，涉案总金额约2500万港元，案件仍在调查中。
