据湖北荆州日报9月16日消息，9月15日，荆州市召开全市领导干部会议，省委组织部宣布省委决定：李迎伟同志任中共荆州市委书记。
李迎伟，1977年2月生。曾长期任职河南，2023年3月任河南省统计局党组书记、局长。2024年11月跨省任荆州市副市长、代市长，2025年1月当选市长。
