9月14日下午，美国俄亥俄州哥伦比亚纳县法院发生袭警逃逸事件。20岁男子的里格尔在量刑听证会上被判一年监禁。庭审结束后，他弄断手铐，击倒两名法警企图逃出法院，最终在出口附近被赶来协助的其他法警用电击枪制服。
