当地时间9月15日，以军对加沙地带汗尤尼斯一个帐篷营地发动空袭，8岁巴勒斯坦女孩阿迈勒·穆盖尔在袭击中死亡。阿迈勒的姑姑胡卢德·穆盖尔回忆，当天上午阿迈勒还在营地邻居家玩耍、唱歌、敲鼓，邻居给了她三颗椰枣，她对妈妈说“一切美好都自有其时”。夜里，这个饥肠辘辘的孩子去买炸豆丸子，却再也没能回来。
