美国国家图书奖长名单上周刚刚公布。这个奖项已经走过近百年，除二战期间短暂停办外，一直用来表彰在美国出版、由美国作者创作的作品，是文学界最负盛名的奖项之一。
今年的提名名单相当多元。以下按类别梳理这份长名单。
小说类：老将新秀同台
小说类长名单包括：Hannah Lillith Assadi的《Paradiso 17》、Kimberly Blaeser的《Red Ants》、Edwidge Danticat的《Dèy》、Julián Delgado Lopera的《Pretend You're Dead and I Carry You》、Louise Erdrich的《Python's Kiss》、Marlon James的《The Disappearers》、Valeria Luiselli的《Beginning Middle End》。
非虚构类：聚焦身份与历史
非虚构类方面，入围作品包括Rozina Ali的《Seasons of Fury: Four Families and the Rise of Islamophobia in America》、Abdelrahman ElGendy的《Huna: A Memoir of Revolution, Prison, and Becoming》、Camonghne Felix的《Let the Poets Govern: A Declaration of Freedom》、Wil Haygood的《The War Within a War: The Black Struggle in Vietnam and at Home》，以及Wendy S. Walters的《A Dead White: An Argument Against White Paint》。
青少年文学类：七部作品入围
青少年文学类的长名单数量最多，共有七部：Delali Adjoa的《The Free Verse Society》、T. A. Chan的《The Celestial Seas》、Tae Keller的《When Tomorrow Burns》、Keala Kendall的《That Which Feeds Us: A Hawaiian Gothic》、Chanel Miller的《The Moon Without Stars》、Eric Darnell Pritchard的《Clothes to Make You Smile: Patrick Kelly Designs His Dreams》，以及Julian Randall的《Shook》。
翻译文学与诗歌类
翻译文学类入围的有：Karim Kattan的《Eden at Dawn》，由Jeffrey Zuckerman从法语翻译；Ping Lu的《To the East of the East》，由Jeremy Tiang从中文翻译；Mohamed Mbougar Sarr的《Pure Men》，由Lara Vergnaud从法语翻译；以及Samar Yazbek的《Your Presence Is a Danger to Your Life: Voices of Survival and Witness in Gaza》，由Leri Price从阿拉伯语翻译。
诗歌类长名单则包括Victoria Chang的《Tree of Knowledge》、Carolina Ebeid的《Hide》、Fady Joudah的《Exhibit G: Poems, Essays, and Photographs of Gaza》、Layli Long Soldier的《We》、Jonah Mixon-Webster的《Promise/Threat》，以及Jake Skeets的《Horses》。
