中国航空新闻网讯：据外媒10月8日报道，美国自主系统公司Shield AI获得美国海军追加的1.5亿美元资金承诺，用于支持其“X-Bat”垂直起降（VTOL）自主战术喷气机的研发。报道称，这笔资金将推动该项目向生产阶段迈进。
据Shield AI介绍，随着本轮追加投入，美国政府对该项目的投资累计已达4亿美元。X-Bat被设计为无需跑道即可自主垂直起降的战术喷气机，Shield AI预计将在数月内完成该机的首飞。
