前巴萨球员佩德罗本周五在解释自己退役原因的新闻发布会上表示，瓜迪奥拉对他来说“像父亲一样”。
佩德罗表示：“瓜迪奥拉像我的父亲，也是我的导师。他是纠正我最多的人，我就是在那里起步的。那时你会意识到很多教练的水平。他对我发展自己的踢法非常重要。”
