新华社巴拿马城10月10日电 据欧洲-地中海地震中心消息，巴拿马当地时间10日8时46分左右，巴拿马中部阿苏埃罗半岛上的拉斯塔布拉斯附近发生5级地震，震中位于北纬7.57度、西经80.41度，震源深度为12公里。
据美国地质调查局地震信息网消息，巴拿马上皮塔洛萨地区附近当地时间9日12时56分发生7.6级地震。巴拿马大学地球科学研究所将此次地震定级为7.5级。强震后又发生了逾百次余震。（完）
