北京时间9月4日，伴随着DK战胜KT，LCK四支世界赛队伍也已经全部确定，分别是HLE、GEN、T1和DK。
不过这四支战队具体的种子顺位还未确定，HLE和GEN至少确保前三种子，具体顺位要在后续的四场比赛中确定。
在过去的四年世界赛当中，最终夺冠的都是LCK赛区的战队，DRX拿到了一次冠军，T1则是实现了三连冠。
