当地时间13日，加拿大总理卡尼表示，加拿大正在寻求与欧盟建立“独特的联盟”，但并不打算成为欧盟成员国。卡尼当日表示，加拿大将开始与欧盟就建立“独特的联盟”进行磋商。据悉，卡尼将访问法国和英国。此前，有消息称，加拿大正在探索是否有可能成为欧盟的“准成员国”。
