亨利·马蒂斯（Henri Matisse，1869-1954）是法国画家、雕塑家、版画家，野兽派创始人，与毕加索、杜尚一起被认为是对20世纪初造型艺术带来最重要变革的人物。
马蒂斯在1905年左右确立了野兽派风格，主张使用大胆及平面的色彩、不拘的线条，以鲜艳色彩和简练造型打破既定概念。色彩解放，消除阴影，用纯色块定义形体，具有强烈的装饰性。
