本周我们学习和生日相关的词汇
1. party favor /ˈpɑ:rti ˌfeɪvər/
派对小礼品
e.g.The host gave out party favors to all the guests before they left.
e.g. We prepared some personalized party favors as a small token of appreciation.
补充：a token of appreciation 表达谢意
2. goodie/'ɡudi/
n.小礼物；好吃的东西
搭配：goodie bag 礼品袋;惊喜
promotional goodies促销赠品
e.g.Every child received a goodie bag at the birthday party.
e.g.Many brands give away promotional goodies, such as tote bags and key chains, to attract potential customers.
近义补充：giveaways 赠品
e.g.The company handed out free giveaways at the exhibition.
3. bash /bæʃ/
n.盛会；聚会；庆祝仪式
搭配：birthday bash 盛大热闹的生日派对，比birthday party 更隆重
e.g. My parents threw me a huge birthday bash when I turned 18.
e.g.Younger people tend to throw a birthday bash with their friends, perhaps at a restaurant or a karaoke bar.
4. go all out
(idiom)全力以赴；竭尽全力
搭配: go all out for +名词
go all out to do something 竭尽全力做某事
e.g.We decided to go all out for her birthday bash.
e.g. She went all out to prepare for the competition.
5. the icing on the cake
(idiom)锦上添花的事物
e.g. The birthday dinner was amazing, and receiving a thoughtful present from my best friend was the icing on the cake.
e.g. I got my dream job, and the generous salary was the icing on the cake.
近义补充：a cherry on top
e.g.The birthday dinner was amazing, and the surprise birthday cake was the cherry on top.
